Signs of the “one to one” step
- Time to step up: people come back and bring friends; the same questions repeat; almost no free hours left.
- Too early: you cannot explain your approach in five minutes; after a session you are left with “I don't know what to do with this”.
- A ceiling: the signs of “up” are there, but you cannot take the step.
Two columns of the map
- From the method: what repeats and what the client can name themselves.
- From the relationship: attention, trust, the feeling of being listened to.
- A bond becomes a ceiling when the “from the method” column is empty.
The edge of competence
- For weeks the problem has been getting in the way of daily life.
- The work is not moving.
- Several signs of distress at once, not one.
- Signals in you: “more than I can handle”, the client depends on you too much.
- The decision is the client's, except when there is a risk of harm to themselves or others.
- Do not diagnose. Notice and refer. Danger right now — the emergency service.
The limit formulas
- Revenue of the week = (client hours − unpaid cancellations) × price of a session.
- Price of a working hour = revenue of the week ÷ (client hours + hours outside sessions).
- Ceiling of the week = limit of client hours × price of a session.
- Within the step you grow by price or by hours. Above the ceiling, only by format.
A method on one page
- A step = action + why + minutes.
- For two: yes / with a change / no.
The plan of a meeting for 2–7
- Form: a mini-group of your clients, a couple or a family, apprenticeship.
- Three selection criteria: a similar request, readiness to hear others, no signs from the edge of competence.
- Each current client gets their own conversation.
- The sign of success is named before the meeting.
- In “My map”: “my own format”, a date, and in the “Sign” field the sign that the step worked.
